This started as a post about how to deal with family members who are against prepping, but then I realized that the first step is making sure that you haven’t actually lost the thread. We’ve talked before about thinking like a prepper without becoming paranoid. In short, these are the steps:

  1. Identify actual threats.

  2. Ask whether those threats impact you.

  3. Ask yourself whether there’s anything you can do about it.

  4. Identify other problems the solution may solve.

  5. Take action with confidence.

I want to dig deeper into “take action with confidence.” How can you be sure you’re taking the right actions for you and your family? I can’t answer that question for you, but here are some questions to ask yourself.
