Unprepared Vibe Check: August 2022

Where things are at and where we think they're going…

We regularly share and discuss current events in the Unprepared chat’s #news channel, even if we don’t end up covering the events in Unprepared. I’ve spent the summer thinking about how to distill this flood of information so that we can succinctly update readers on topics we’ve touched upon previously. So I came up with this: a “vibe check” of where I think things are and where they’re going based on observation.

Overall, I’m much less worried than I was at the start of the year, at least in the short-to-mid term. Let’s look at all the major happenings individually.
