This is never a look you want to see on a president’s face.

It reminds me of the George W. Bush’s dumbfounded expression when he was informed of the 9/11 attack.

Biden had that look because he just received some terrible news about the global fuel supply, which we’ll explain momentarily. If you’re in a hurry, here are the actions to take now:

  • Take advantage of the temporary dip in oil prices to buy gas cans and fuel stabilizer, and store as much gas as is reasonable for you. If you have space, twelve 5-gallon cans — one for each month — that you empty and refill each month is a good plan.

  • To store diesel fuel, you’ll need the yellow diesel cans and diesel stabilizer.

  • If you drive a diesel truck, store at least a year’s supply of diesel oil.

  • Consider a wood stove for the winter, especially if you depend on natural gas to heat your home.

  • Check out what our Summer Survival Council has to say about preparing for a fuel crisis.

  • Read our advice for dealing with a diesel shortage.
